I am very pleased to announce that Floyd the Android recieved a Special Jury Recognition Award at the Aspen Shortsfest.

3300 films submitted, 80 films selected, 6 Special Jury Recognition Awards given.

I had a wonderful time at the festival, and want to thank the organizers, judges and volunteers.  I met quite a few film makers, and enjoyed many fantastic films.

Floyd the Android will show next April in Taiwan, at the International Children's Film Festival.

Currently, the website is only in Chinese.

Floyd the Android will be part of Kidz Filmz at the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan New Jersey.  It shows in the 1 pm program on Saturday, January 28.

Today I received a catalog from "Cartoon Club",  a comics and animation festival in Rimini, Italy.  I had sent them a DVD of Floyd the Android months ago, and they included him in their 27th festival back in July.  Sorry I didn't know about it sooner.

Floyd the Android has won a prize at the KROK International Animated Films Festival.

- Prize in the category – to TV series “Floyd the Android”, director Jonathan Lyons (USA).
